Jim Stein
Starting in the propane business in 1980, my passion and expertise was in management development and personnel recruiting while working as the Regional Human Resources Manager. Having learned the propane business from the bottom-up, I developed a niche for placing key people in critical positions, relative to each individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and industry background.
I worked for AmeriGas Propane Co. from 1980 to 2006.
My positions included:
- Area Manager – Pacific Northwest (Oregon/Washington)
- Regional HR/ Employee Relations Manager – Western Region
- District Manager – Northern California
- Bobtail Driver / Propane Service Tech - Northern California
While working as a District Manager, I earned a Master's degree in Management & Organizational Development and a Bachelor's degree in Management. My membership associations and professional certificates include:
