Job Description:
Propane Operations Manager - Easton, Pennsylvania
Propane Operations Manager is responsible for managing Delivery Drivers, Service Technicians and Customer Service and Sales Staff.
This position also requires you to interface with our customers. The role is essential to ensure all customers receive timely deliveries and service requests are performed in a safe and professional manner.
Fostering a TEAM environment is essential. Performance is tracked by key indicators for customer service standards and operational efficiencies. Achieving and consistently improving upon measured standards of success is fully supported by Deiter Bros. leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Ensure knowledge of, and compliance with all DOT regulations
-Promote a culture of Safety
-Provide regular safety meetings
-Ensure efficient deliveries for maximum productivity
-Maintain inventories
- Negotiate the purchase of all fuel requirements
-Hiring, training, reviewing all Divisional team members
Scope of Desired Skills and Experience:
-3 to 5 years Propane Management experience.
-Strong management and customer relations skills.
-Process oriented focus with priority on continuous growth and improvement.
-Ability to manage team workload allocation.
-Keeping current with latest technology and techniques in the fuel delivery industry.
-Ability to think strategically and pivot to solve problems quickly.
-Knowledge of Bluecow’s Ignite software is a plus.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel.), and google docs.
-PERC CETP Basic Knowledge and Bobtail Operations Certifications a must.
-CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements a Plus.
