Job Description:
Account Sales Representative:
Northeast Region: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut
This position will be responsible for building solid and long term profitable business relationships, gaining market share and enhancing overall customer satisfaction with our products and services.
Develop a Growth Action Plan for assigned territory. Increase market share of the assigned territory through maximizing sales potential of existing customers and developing new business opportunities.
Develop an Account Retention Plan that builds customer loyalty and protects customer base from competitive threats by conducting periodic visits with key accounts.
Attend State and Regional Association Meetings, Sales Meetings and Propane conventions as directed by Management .
Develop a strong working relationship with new and existing accounts that is focused on customer service and customer growth as a top priority.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, customer focus and a positive attitude will be the keys to success within this established and growing company.
* Travel 3-4 days per week to areas within assigned territory on a regular and timely manner.
Job Summary:
The Outside Sales Representative will sell products and services offered by the company to current customers.
We are looking for an individual with a strong customer service focus along with Propane Experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Weekly Travel Overnight stays
• Communicates with customers to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
• Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
• Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Time Management
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
• Must have Propane related experience.
